Home sweet home!

For the people who don't know. I was in the hospital for 4 days for a "little" surgery. Today I left the hospital and need to rest for at least 1 week before start working again. I had a lump under my armpit and it has been removed. Fortunately it was not something malignant. A special thank you to my friend Gi and sra Maria for bringing me to the hospital and waiting/staying there till the operation was finished. It felt good to see you when I returned from the operation room. Also a special thanks to Mussy who picked me up today at the hospital and also for picking up Rubelia at the airport. And last but not least a special thanks to my sister Rubelia for flying to Curacao to be with me at home (and also for typing this) ;-)

Thanks to all my friends/family who came to visit/call me. Thanks to Jay and Pinnacle Sports for the flowers. Some pics have been taken in the hospital. I know! I look pale, but like Rubelia said, I also need to put pics of less fun times.

Celebrating Gabriela's birth!

Two aunts were celebrating the birth of baby girl Gabriela. I met Mayesi (Abedd's sister) at Larry's. We enjoyed the dinner and talked the whole night. The waitress even came to us to kick us from the restaurant...lol. We could not stop talking. We missed aunt/godmother Rubelia though :-( As soon as she somes to Curacao we will celebrate the 3 of us. Love you lisse.

My sister gave birth today!!

Congratulations to my sister Amaryllis and Abedd with their baby Girl Gabriela Alejandra Elizabeth. Finally I'm aunt! Lisse wish I was there to see my little niece and with you. Pictures coming soon!

Unfortunately weekend is over again!

My weekend started with a birthday get-to-gether of my friend Meli. You will see some pictures below. Saturday had a a hectic day. I woke up very early :-( Went to the supermarket to do some shopping, went to hospital to see my sick aunt, brought food for my other aunt and so on. In the midday my friend Gisah came at my house to have lunch. Since Gisah her b-day is tommorrow, we went to buy her present! She wanted some fishes for her aquarium. Later in the night Gisah, her husband Michael and I went to watch the movie "RED EYE". It was really a stressing movie but very good!! semi thriller/action. Some parts were really thrilling. Today I had my second tennis lesson and in the midday Gizah and I had lunch at "jachtclub". Rest of my day I just relaxed and watched the Emmy awards!

Bertin's surprise!!

Yesterday was my manager's birthday. His wife planned e surprise for him and the whole IT department of the company was invited. Below you can meet most of the people I work with. We had a lot of fun and it was a great surprise. The BBQ was very good also. You will see Bertin cooking for us in the pictures below :-). I want to thank Michael for taking most of the pics.

Weekend till now..

I'm having a very relax weekend. Just did some stuff my parents asked me to do (since they are in Holland), visited my cousin Katy, Dennis and the baby. Tomorrow I'm going to be a little bit active and will go tennis with a colleague and maybe later to the beach. He is going to give my first lesson tennis..lol. Oh yeah friday I went to see my friend Moira. She is here on vacation and we had dinner at Larry's. We were suppose to go to Mambo Beach today also, but I'm really lazy and decide to stay home and do nothing. Just watch TV and Internet a bit.

Congratulations Katy and Dennis with your Baby GIRL Luna Maria!! I told you...She was waiting to be born on mommy's birthday :-) I'm really really happy for you and glad everything went fine. Katy I know this will be a birthday you will never forget and also the best gift ever.

My weekend....

valy, me, scarlet and Juana Ok let me tell about my weekend... Friday I went out to meet some friends at "de Heeren". I was very lazy first when they called me to join them. Just wanted to stay home, but then I changed my mind. I thought I need to go to see Scarlet before she goes back to Miami, since she is just for a few days here in Curacao. Like always we just sat and talked, had a drink and listened to some good music. I just stayed there for one and a half hour and then went home. Friday is a hard day for me to stay up till late after such a busy week at work. Saturday morning 10 am I went to my massage (a bit too early for me) but...it was really worth it. There I met my friend Gisah who was in the sauna at the moment (just had her massage). Gisah and I decided to have a beauty weekend. 3 days after eacht other 1 hour massage and then 40 minutes sauna after Elisabeth smear something like mod in combination with seaweed on our body.......you know some natural stuff. After that It felt fresh and my body felt smooth.

Don't have pictures of this..lol, but just believe me it was really really good. Anyway later in the afternoon My friend Juanita called me to go to the beach and since I just had a nice massage in the morning I though a bit tan is not a bad idea! Later in the evening I went to the movies with some friends. The movies was called "The four brothers". I REALLY liked it! You guys should see it when starts in Holland (recommended).
Sunday I started again with my beauty morning and later in the afternoon went with my friend Marcy to the Beach at the Marriott Hotel.
