James Pub Quiz Night

As almost every monday I went to the James pub Quiz night. Unfortunately we ended in 10th place tonight, but still it was really fun (and tough)!! I started going to the quiz night at the beginning of this year I think. Our team is called "simple clan". We did win one time ;-) , and ended a few times in 2nd and 3th place (wee keep getting better!). Most of the times there are like 24 teams (each 5 persons) . Can can expect all kind of questions. Sports, general knowledge ( a lot!), movies, music. Today we did very bad in the music round. For this round you can get 20 points (shame on us!). I think we had 5. Anyway we had a score of 43 points today (highest score is 90) and the winners had 66! What's the price? a bottle of Irish Wiskey! Now you can be sure we do this for fun and not for the price..lol

Pinnacle Sports (Soft ball)

Last Sunday Pinnacle Sports played against another sportsbook and we won with a score of 8-2 !!!!!!!!! Unfortunately there are no pictures of this event. Last month we played againts the other sportsbook called VIP and we won also! You can see some pics below.

I decide to put a pic with my parents, since I only put pics of all my friends before. I know my sister would be happy to see our parents also on this website. I promise another friend in Holland also to put pics of my vacation in Miami and Aruba. You will be seeing those pics soon!!

Picture time!!!

I bought my digital camera 2 months ago and since then I've been taking pictures like crazy. Below you can see what I've been doing for the last 2 months (except for working, don't have pics of that..lol). Both my sister Amaryllis and my cousing Katy are expecting there baby soon .. in the month of september! I'm really excited...Few days ago was my cousin's babyshower. We had a lot of fun. Of course I had my camera with me...




Also here a picture of me and my sisters in Miami last month! My sister was almost 7 months pregnant here.

Amaryllis came all the way from Holland to Miami. Rubelia from Aruba. We had so much fun together! At least I got to see my sis pregnant.

Hi there, welcome to my Blog!!

Let me tell you a bit more of myself. I'm 27 years old and I'm half latina, half caribbean. My native country is Curacao. One of the most lovely island in the caribbean.

Exactly 1 year and 3 days ago I moved back to Curacao. Before that, I lived for 8 years in Holland. I Finished my university in 2000 and after that worked for 4 years. Last year I got a great job offer and I moved back. Left a lot of great people behind :-( That's why I think this blog is great, so they can see how everything is going here. I really like taking pics, so you won't miss anything ;-)


But anyway I'm still really happy to be back here, Love to be near my parents, love my job and love the WEATHER...lol
