Juan spontaneous photoshooting

As I said in an earlier post Juan took some pics of Rubelia and me at the beach. Those are some of them. I even put one when I laugh but that's because my sister told me to it, since I HATE my smile as most of you maybe already noticed. I never have a big smile on pics..lol
Anyway on the left you can see one I took of my sis yesterday on the catamaran. I'm a good photographer also huh? ;-)

Aruba catamaran regatta

Since Setar (where my sister works) is a sponsor of the Regatta she was invited by Heineken to a trip in a catamaran, to see the regatta close by. The invitation was for 2 persons and guess who she asked to go with her ;-). Unfortunately not much sun again, so no tan at all :-( But the trip was really nice. There were snacks and drinks on board. On the right you can see the pic of the catamaran. At night Juan Rubelia and me went to Moomba, it's a place like Mambo.

Aruba Beach and more..

Our day started very late. We woke up like 12.30 in the afternoon. So we thought to go to the beach to get some tan. It didn't succeed since the weather was not really cooperating. What succeeded is Juan doing a photoshoot of Rubelia and me at the beach..lol. He has this huge camera and since he do this for his job he was taking pictures of us like crazy just for fun. Have not seen them yet, but I might post some when I get them. Then we will see how good he really is ;-). But anyway we left at 5 and at night we went for dinner at "Hung paradise" (chinese food).

After having dinner we went out (finally) to a disco called Carlos & Charlies (yes, that's where Nataly holloway was seen for the last time). We had e great time there. The music was really good. What's funny is that this guy called Carlos give now and then small shows like calling people on stage and let them do crazy stuff. Like those guys needed to shake their booties, and then the public is the jury. (Liz remember?)What can I say, they now how to entertain! After C & C we went to Bahia, danced there for a while and then went home.

Aruba........

I'm in Aruba now visiting my sister for a few days. I really needed a vacation after such a stressful and busy week. Just for 4 days, far from work ;-) Ok not that far, but still far enough. Today My sister had to work so the whole day I relaxed at her house. Last time I came to Aruba we went to Gaucho

Restaurant for dinner and it was delicious so I told Rubelia I really want to go again. We planned to go out after that, but as usual we were lazy, so we decided to just meet some friends at the "yacht club" and then went home. We might go to the beach tomorrow to get some tan.

No no, this is not my house that's being build, but my friend Gisah's. Today she picked me up to go and took some pics of her house. They start building it in the beginning of oktober and look how far they are already with it. After that we went to the movies "Into the blue".

Tonight me and my friends Gisah and Marcy went to a modeshow of wedding dresses. It was a nice show. There was this guy who also gave a small show of belly dancing, and he was really amazing. The way he moved his hips and belly, was really great. I wish I could do that.
Anyway the modeshow had some nice dresses. I will put a pic of the one I liked the most. No no, no wedding plans yet for me. ;-) After that we went to de Heeren to meet Gisah's parent and there we stayed for a while. I also met my sister best friends Elsihra and Indira. Ama we took e pic especially for you :-)

Same old ...

Hi Everyone!

I'm feeling much better now. Tomorrow I start working full time again. Last week I work 2 days half a day. I'm happy that everything is behind me. It was some tough weeks.
Anyway Yesterday my friend Claudia came to visit me and since I've been the whole day home doing nothing we decide to go the movies. We left home like 10:00 pm and since the movie started at 11:30 pm we went to Mambo/Wet & wild first to have a drink. We stayed there till 11:00 pm talking talking talking. The movie was really funny "The 40 year old virgin". Here a picture Gi, Rubelia and I took last week before Rubelia leaving for Aruba. Gi invited us to have lunch at jachtclub. And of course some pics of Clau and me. Clau thanks for the stuff you shopped for me in Miami ;-) . Today I went with Sra Maria and her friend to have lunch at Larry's and watch the Atlanta - Houston baseball game. No victory for braves :-(

Home sweet home!

For the people who don't know. I was in the hospital for 4 days for a "little" surgery. Today I left the hospital and need to rest for at least 1 week before start working again. I had a lump under my armpit and it has been removed. Fortunately it was not something malignant. A special thank you to my friend Gi and sra Maria for bringing me to the hospital and waiting/staying there till the operation was finished. It felt good to see you when I returned from the operation room. Also a special thanks to Mussy who picked me up today at the hospital and also for picking up Rubelia at the airport. And last but not least a special thanks to my sister Rubelia for flying to Curacao to be with me at home (and also for typing this) ;-)

Thanks to all my friends/family who came to visit/call me. Thanks to Jay and Pinnacle Sports for the flowers. Some pics have been taken in the hospital. I know! I look pale, but like Rubelia said, I also need to put pics of less fun times.

Celebrating Gabriela's birth!

Two aunts were celebrating the birth of baby girl Gabriela. I met Mayesi (Abedd's sister) at Larry's. We enjoyed the dinner and talked the whole night. The waitress even came to us to kick us from the restaurant...lol. We could not stop talking. We missed aunt/godmother Rubelia though :-( As soon as she somes to Curacao we will celebrate the 3 of us. Love you lisse.

My sister gave birth today!!

Congratulations to my sister Amaryllis and Abedd with their baby Girl Gabriela Alejandra Elizabeth. Finally I'm aunt! Lisse wish I was there to see my little niece and with you. Pictures coming soon!
